The owner of the Home Stay Shri Lokesh Grol is a retired banker having a great taste for the Hospitality services. He is assisted by his wife and other members to give the best of services and offering an insight into the customs and traditions of Shimla in particular and Himachali in general to the distinguished guests.

We are confident that our website will attract your valuable attention and entice you to come to “Ridge View- Home Stay “ a Home Stay located just 4.5 KMs from Auckland House School (Lakkar Bazar) and 5 KMs from The Ridge/The Mall Shimla ,with drive in facilities and ample free parking .We are having budget accommodation amid homely atmosphere with high quality personal services having medical facilities from a Sr. Doctor ( in case of need) during the night time. Our distinguished guests can enjoy panoramic view of surrounding lush green forests , beautiful valley view and fascinating view of Jakhu Temple and the idol of Hanuman Ji. Here, you can enjoy nature in its bounty from your sun-bathed rooms; and at night, sit under the canopy of stars on the wide open terrace .

We offers well furnished, airy, picturesque , sunny ,spacious bed rooms with open balcony with attached neat and clean toilet –cum-bath at a very reasonable rates. Color Televisions , regular water supply (Hot & Cold ). We have also spacious Rooms in Ground Floor just adjoining to the car parking. No stair climbing for these rooms thus suitable to the old aged and handicapped persons. Each room is outfitted with clean, contemporary furniture, a balcony as well as all modern amenities to provide you with a home away from home atmosphere. The alluring beautiful scene of hills is clearly visible from inside the rooms – a thing which the traveler misses in urban hotels . Wi-Fi is also available .

We have sufficient well furnished and pleasurable dining space having sitting capacity of 10-12 persons. Fresh home made food at nominal rates with seasonal vegetables on orders is provided. Tea, Milk, Coffee and juices are available at all times. We have separate kitchens/cooking stoves for pure vegetarian, vegan, non-vegetarian & Jain-specific cooking. Meals can also be ordered from restaurants as per their menu & delivery charges will be extra.

Reaching Ridge View Home Stay

We are located at Ragyan-Lower Dudhli (Near Bharari) . If you are coming by bus ,you just get down at Victory Tunnel and if by train at railway station. Local cabs are available. If you are coming by your own car, just cross the Victory Tunnel-Lakkar Bazar and passing the Raddison Hotel, a 3 KMs beautiful drive through deodar forest to reach us.
